For a 144" Sprinter, we recommend the Fiamma F45S 300 (10'1" extended). For a 170" EXT Sprinter, we recommend the F45S 400 (13'1" extended). The general rule: go as large as fits without overhanging the van length — but do not go longer than the van itself. The 300 is the most popular size and works well on most builds.

Our rack is compatible with the Fiamma F45S wall-mount awning only. The F80S is a roof-mount awning with a completely different mounting interface — it will NOT work with our brackets or rack. The F45S mounts to the side of the van (wall-mount); the F80S mounts flat on top of the roof. If you already have an F80S, it is not compatible with our system. Third-party awnings (Thule, ARB, etc.) that use a wall-mount interface similar to the F45S may be compatible — contact us before ordering.

The Fiamma awning ships directly from Fiamma Inc. in Orlando, Florida — NOT from our Tustin warehouse. It ships via a freight trucking service (not FedEx or UPS), so there is no standard online tracking number. Fiamma or their freight carrier will call you directly to schedule delivery using the phone number on your order. Shipping takes approximately 2 weeks from order date. If you haven't received a call after 2 weeks, contact us and we'll follow up with Fiamma on your behalf.

If the brackets don't align with your rack's bolt holes, the most common cause is having an older-generation Strata rack with slightly wider hole spacing than the current version. Send us photos of your rack and the bracket placement and we'll confirm whether you have the older or current rack and ship the correct adapter. Do not attempt to force-fit or re-drill without contacting us first — we'll get you the right part.

Use the lower holes per the install video. If there's not enough clearance to tighten the Fiamma screws in the lower position, try the upper holes — either position will hold securely. If the middle bracket slot doesn't align perfectly, mounting to the next adjacent slot is fine. You can also purchase a single additional bracket if you need four evenly spaced mounts: contact us and we'll sort it.

That call is from Fiamma's freight carrier — answer it. The carrier will call the phone number on your order to schedule a delivery appointment and confirm your address. If you missed the call, call Fiamma Inc. directly at (407)-672-0091 and reference your WTA order. Make sure someone is available to receive the delivery since it ships via freight truck (not a standard residential FedEx drop-off).

Yes — the standard Fiamma mounting hardware that comes with the awning is designed for van walls or generic surfaces, not for roof rack rails. Our F45S Awning Brackets are specifically engineered to attach the awning to the WTA rack's side rail. Without them, the awning cannot mount to the rack properly.
