"I love my adjustable height loft bed system. Installed it on a the wendsday before thanksgiving and used it the very next night on the 16 hour drive to barber motorsports park in Alabama. "I thought it was going to be easy to actually move up and down that’s why I spent almost 2000$ You have to physically unbolt it everytime with 8 bolts to move it up and down I thought there would be some kind of quick release , then looking into it they charge a 15 percent restocking fee then it takes 200-300 to return it so I’m going to Be out 500$ if I return it They make it seem like it’s effortless to move up and down and it’s not."
"Well it is installed. I found out what the blocks were, they were rail extensions. There were only 6 M6 bolts, but no problem as I was able to find 2 more exact ones at hardware store. I also found 6 M8 bolts so also no problem. It all looks great! I also ordered the mattress you recommended from Roam Rest. I can't wait to use it!"

"The platform bed has been one of the best purchases I have made for my 2021 Sprinter 144 high roof crew. It arrived quickly, well packaged. I had l track running horizontally already installed, so I used 1/4”x2” aluminum bar stock bolted vertically to the l track to mount the support rails to. The rails have plenty of adjustability for different mounting options. I set the bed at about 42” high, I can easily change the height if I drill alternate mounting holes in the aluminum bars. I bought a six inch “short queen “ mattress that fits perfectly and is very comfortable. It’s great to have the bed always available, even with all our bikes and gear inside. The bed is an outstanding value in the Sprinter accessory world, I highly recommend it."
"Installed in a 2021 170WB Sprinter, this bed system is impressively robust—especially the mounting rails, which are beefier and more stable than expected. Once in place, the platform feels extremely solid with no noticeable flex or wobble. Adjusting the height is doable solo, but it’s much easier with two people due to the system's weight and alignment precision. Once set, it offers a rock-solid foundation for any van build. Overall, this is a well-designed and durable system. Very satisfied with the experience so far."
"I received the bed in 3 boxes that were well packaged. Within 2 hours I had the bed fully installed with a friends help. It feels very solid and has no issues or bend when I lay on it (I am 200lbs). I am 6'3 and the bed has plenty of length. The bed will not fit between the walls in the full up position on the L track however it is close enough to the ceiling that I can fit my full size dirtbike under it which was the goal. Also in the full up position you will need a thin mattress as its fairly close to the ceiling. Moving it up and down isn't terribly hard. Very Happy with the quality and finish."

What are the exact dimensions of the 4-panel bed? Will it fit my Sprinter?
The 4-panel bed system overall dimensions are 64" x 75.4". Each individual panel is 64" x 15.6". It is designed for the high roof Sprinter and fits both 144" and 170" wheelbases. For custom mattress orders: Steve recommends ordering from RoamRest using the bed dimensions. Corner gaps between panels and exact rivet hole specs are below on this page and in the install PDF.
How do the L-Track brackets work? Do I need them? Will they work in my passenger van?
The L-Track Adjustable Bed Brackets mount to the existing L-Track already in your van's walls, letting you set the bed at any height. They are sold separately from the bed panels. If your van has no L-Track, you can mount the bed frame directly to the van body — instructions for both methods are in the PDF on the product page. The brackets work in all Sprinter configurations including passenger vans with windows. For Transit vans we have a separate bed system, click here to access.
How long does shipping take? Can I pick up locally?

What tools do I need? What size rivets? Is there an install video?
Required tools: 5mm and 6mm hex wrenches, 10mm and 13mm open-end or socket wrenches, and a rivet gun for L-Track installation. Current rivet spec: 1/4" rivnuts (recently updated from 1/8" — the install video may still show the old size, but 1/4" is correct and stronger). Full install PDF and video are right below on this product page. The bed does not require a rack to install.
What's the difference between the 3-panel and 4-panel? Which one should I order?
The 4-panel is the current product — the 3-panel has been phased out. Both use the same wall rails. The 4-panel is lighter and allows you to remove individual panels more easily.
How much weight can the 4-panel bed system hold?

What mattress do you recommend for the 4-panel bed system?
We recommend RoamRest for a mattress that fits the bed dimensions. Contact us at info@whitetopadventures.com and we'll send you the exact dimensions to use when ordering. A standard cut-to-size foam mattress at 64" x 75" works well. Note: the thin foam strips on top of the platform can pull off when sliding a mattress — position your mattress carefully when removing it.
