This almost always happens with older-generation Strata racks that have slightly wider bolt hole spacing than the current bracket version. If your rack was purchased more than a year ago, you likely have the older style. Send photos of your rack and the bracket placement to info@whitetopadventures.com — we'll confirm which version you have and get you the correct brackets. Do not force-fit or re-drill without contacting us first.

Yes — the hardware included with the Fiamma F45S is designed for van walls or generic flat surfaces, not for roof rack rails. The WTA F45S Awning Brackets are specifically engineered to attach the awning to the WTA rack's side rail. Without them, the awning cannot mount to the rack properly.

Use the lower holes per the install video. If there isn't enough clearance to tighten the Fiamma screws in the lower position, the upper holes work equally well and hold just as securely. If the middle slot doesn't align perfectly, the next adjacent slot is fine.

Yes — the same F45S Awning Brackets work for both the Sprinter and Transit Strata racks. Make sure you are ordering the Fiamma F45S wall-mount awning, not the F80S roof-mount — the F80S is not compatible with either rack.
