Which Fiamma awning fits the Strata rack? What size? What brackets do I need?
Our rack is compatible with the Fiamma F45S wall-mount awning only — NOT the F80S roof-mount awning, which has a completely different mounting interface. For the 144" Sprinter, we recommend the Fiamma F45S 300 (10'1"). For the 170" EXT, the 400 (13'1"). Awning brackets are sold separately: whitetopadventures.com/collections/sprinter/products/f45-awning-brackets.
The same bracket works for both Sprinter and Transit racks. For bracket hole position: use the lower holes per the install video. Note — the Fiamma awning ships directly from Fiamma in Florida via freight carrier (not FedEx), so tracking and delivery work differently from our other products.
Will this fit my 144" high roof Sprinter?
Yes — the Sprinter 144" High Roof Strata and Stealth racks fit all high roof Sprinters with a 144" wheelbase. Confirmed compatible across all years from 2014 through 2026. The rack is also compatible with TEC Vanlife factory roof rails. If you have a 4x4 / AWD Sprinter or a Winnebago Revel, contact us before ordering to confirm your exact configuration.
What are the inside dimensions of the rack? How wide is it between the rails?
The inside rail width on the Sprinter high roof Strata rack is 53.2 inches. This is the usable mounting width — any solar panel or accessory wider than 53.2" will need to be oriented lengthwise along the rack. Full dimensions including rail height and crossbar specs are listed in "dimensions" tab above.
Can I mount solar panels on the Strata rack? What brackets do I need? Will my panels fit?
Yes — mount solar panels directly to the crossbars using our Solar Panel Mounting Brackets (hardware included): whitetopadventures.com/products/roof-rack-solar-panel-mounting-brackets. The usable inside width is 53.2". Panels wider than 53.2" on the short axis must be oriented lengthwise. For large panels (e.g. 400W bifacial at 44.6" wide): two panels would sit side by side at 89.2" total — wider than the rack. One panel per crossbar orientation, or contact us to discuss your specific panel spec before ordering.
Is the White Top Adventures side ladder compatible with the Strata / Stealth rack? What about third-party ladders?
Yes — our side ladder is designed to work with all White Top Adventures roof racks. It mounts to the factory roof rails independently of the rack, so there's no conflict. Third-party ladders we can not guarantee that they are compatible — our rack sits very close to the roofline, and third-party ladders that sit higher will contact the rack's side rail. Always pair White Top Adventures rack with our ladder.
Is the front fairing required? Does it cause noise or vibration? Can I mount accessories behind it?
The front fairing is completely optional — you can run the rack without it. It does not cause vibration issues; we have sold hundreds of this rack with no vibration or noise complaints. The fairing is held by its own crossbar and 10 screws. One known side effect: the front fairing can block satellite radio / Sirius XM antennas. If that's a concern, leave the fairing off or reposition the antenna. For dimension from the front mounting hole to the first crossbar: 517mm (20.3").
Will this Sprinter Strata rack fit my Ford Transit?
No — the Sprinter Strata and Stealth racks are not compatible with the Ford Transit. We make a separate Transit Strata Roof Rack. Make sure you are on the correct product page for your van. Transit racks: whitetopadventures.com/collections/transit.

Will this fit my 170" or 170" EXT Sprinter?
No, we have separate strata roof rack products specifically designed for the Sprinter 170" and Sprinter 170" Extended.
The rack I need is out of stock — when will it be back?
Sign up for restock notifications on the product page — that's the most reliable alert. Typical restock window is 2–4 weeks. For discontinued models (e.g. older Stealth): we may have leftover crossbars or parts in the warehouse — email info@whitetopadventures.com and we will get back to you. We no longer carry parts for some older Stealth variants.

"What I really like about the roof rack. . . value, sturdiness, ease of install, quality, looks. Unfortunately, the bolt holes in the center rails are misaligned and the "X" joint plate won't span the distance. Is there an alternative joint plate for the 170 EXT Strata rack?"

"Like another reviewer, we found out mid-install that we are missing parts. Had to order screws and washers and put the install on hold! Not happy about that. Should definitely look into QA and ensure future customers have all the parts needed in their order for the cost of these items. Also finding the PDF and video reviews not as clean and user-friendly, but that we can muddle through."

"I purchased the rack and some A, B, and C rack plates. The rack fits well, the plates also fit well and are adjustable. The biggest fail that I experienced was not receiving all of the piece parts necessary. For the rack, I ended up having to spend another $50 for lock washers… see photo. Then the rack decking came and I needed to buy regular washers for the entire set of B plates, it just didn’t come with any washers… so as wonderful as this is, for $2400. 00, I expect to have all of the parts shipped to me and warrants -2 stars for the time it required for multiple utility store trips in order to install this rack properly. Lots of setup time, understandable, and it works well so far."
