Driver-side or Passenger-side Mercedes Factory 180˚ hinges for use with all White Top Carriers on vans equipped with 270˚ factory hinges. (powdered coated black).

Many Sprinters come from the factory with 270° hinges — which won't allow the full door swing these products require. This is a required upgrade, not an optional add-on.

Building the Rear Tire Carrier Ladder? → Select Driver Side. The tire carrier mounts on the driver-side rear door and requires the driver-side hinge.

Building the Rear Door Atlas Storage Rack? → Select Passenger Side. The storage rack mounts on the passenger-side rear door and requires the passenger-side hinge.

Why do I need 180° hinges? Don't Sprinters already have them?

Not all Sprinters do. Many pre-2019 Sprinters — and some newer ones — come with 270° hinges from the factory. With 270° hinges, the rear door swings fully open and contacts the side of the van, which causes the Sprinter Rear Tire Carrier Ladder or Atlas Rear Door Rack to hit the van body when the door is opened. 180° hinges allow the door to lay flat against the van wall, giving the product clearance to function properly.

How do I know if my Sprinter has 180° or 270° hinges?

Open your rear door fully — if it swings past 180° and the door face contacts the side panel of the van, you have 270° hinges and need the upgrade. If the door opens and lies parallel to the side of the van, you already have 180° hinges.

Does this hinge fit my specific year Sprinter?
