"Nice rack for the money. Was well packed and arrived in multiple cartons. Comes with a good amount of crossbars and all the fasteners. The wind deflector is pretty stout and should fair well while driving. I flushed mounted my four solar panels between the crossbars and from the ground it looks great. I would like to see a couple more brackets attaching it to the van rails, especially on the side I plan to put the awning on. Perhaps I will fabricate a couple to attach behind where the awning attaches. Overall I’d buy again. Hopefully the finish will last many years. I also like it’s not as tall as the other rack they sell."
"This rooftop is amazing, met those guys @ The van show in Capistrano last month and after some honest discussion, we decided to wait for the new low profile design, as soon as the 1st model arrived in their warehouse, we acquired it and installed the following day, we also bought the side ladder from them and we are very satisfied with both, no whistle or vibration @ high speed, yes I did go way over the speed limit to test it. . . we are so happy with it that we authorized them to snap a few pics of our 170 for their site promotion. And been van life enthusiasts, we value honesty and professionalism and they sure met our expectations."
"Installation was super easy on my High Roof 2023 Sprinter 144WB. Instructions were easy to follow, and includes link to a great step by step YouTube video. The rack is sturdy but relatively light weight. It looks great too. I researched lots of racks from many companies and glad I settled on this one from White Top Adventures."
"Simple and stealth design and of course the price point that can't be beat."
"EXCELLENT quality and a very fair price. The install was very easy too - I very highly recommend this product and company!"
"I'm very happy with the price and quality of the rack. Installation was easy, though I would recommend keeping mounting points loose until all rails and crossbars are on, which will make fine tuning of the fit easier and faster. I had to drill some additional holes in the side rails to move crossbars into a better position but that was simple to do. I'm not sure if the fairing will make noise or not, as it doesn't fit down onto the van body like some other racks do, but it would be easy to modify an additional fairing piece if necessary. Overall, I would recommend the rack."
"Long overdue review. This is an excellent rack for the price. I don't think you can find a better value for quality anywhere. For my particular need, I searched far and wide for a rack that could maximize solar panel real estate. I have a factory high output AC which takes up about half the roof space on a 144. Yet with this rack I was able to fit 350W of solar perfectly with no wasted space. I used two Renogy 175W panels. It did require some very minor modification and shifting the rack forward a few inches forward. However, not an issue for me I as that allowed me to mount a skinny stealth lightbar under the rack's fairing. Also Steve went above and beyond to help me. My initial shipment was missing a bolt and nut and he promptly shipped it to me. And months later when I needed some extra hardware to redo my set and was willing to pay for it, he shipped me some extras for free. Just awesome! Sorry, not the best photos, but just what I have access to at the moment."
"Didn’t take long to install. Currently holding a front light and a heavy duty batwing awning secured in with 3 mounts with 3 bolts each. I see no flex at all in the side walls, the crossbars are plenty strong as well. Powder coating looks good, honestly holding up better than the accessories I put on the rack. Only issue is the whistling noise when I’m on the highway, but I’m sure there’s something I can do about that. Overall, looks good and stays sturdy."
"Low profile rack is what I was looking for, because I don't want a super heavy rack on top. This thing looks so good and stealth. Best price too"
What's the difference between the Stealth 2.0 and the Strata? Which one should I order?
The Stealth 2.0 is our low-profile, sleeker design — it sits closer to the roofline for a cleaner look. The Strata has a slightly higher profile with a front fairing option. Both use the same mounting system and are compatible with the same accessories (Fiamma awning, solar brackets, side ladder, decking panels).
My 170" Stealth 2.0 order arrived and one box is labeled "144" — is this a mistake?
No — this is normal. The 170" Stealth 2.0 ships in two boxes: one with the standard 144" rack sections and one with the extension sections. Together they make the full 170" rack.
Which Fiamma awning bracket holes should I use — upper or lower?
Use the lower holes per the install video. If there isn't enough clearance to tighten the Fiamma screws in the lower position, the upper holes work equally well. Our F45S Awning Brackets are compatible with both the Strata and Stealth 2.0 racks. Not compatible with the Fiamma F80S roof-mount awning.
Can I mount solar panels on the Stealth 2.0? What brackets and how many?
Yes — solar panels mount to the crossbars using our Solar Panel Mounting Brackets: whitetopadventures.com/products/roof-rack-solar-panel-mounting-brackets. For 4 x 200W panels on a 170" rack, you'll need 2 packs of mounting brackets. Contact us at info@whitetopadventures.com with your panel model and dimensions for a specific layout recommendation.
How long does shipping take? Can I pick up locally?
In-stock orders ship same day or next business day via UPS/FedEx and arrive in 3–7 business days. For local pickup: 14831 Franklin Ave, Tustin, CA 92780. Mon–Thu 9AM–4PM, Fri 9AM–3PM.
